The Aerocet 532 is an advanced handheld user-friendly particle monitor which features a 2.8” TFT full-color LCD screen, and simultaneously measures particle mass and particle counts for PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM7, PM10, and TSP. It provides results in just 60 seconds using an advanced profile algorithm and is equipped with an 8-channel particle counter calibrated from 0.3 to 10 microns, making it the perfect all-in-one tool for indoor air quality experts.

Enhancing environmental monitoring with RH and temperature sensors

Equipped with an integrated relative humidity and temperature sensor. These sensors collaboratively measure and record the environmental conditions where particle measurements are being conducted. The RH sensor quantifies the moisture in the air, while the temperature sensor measures the ambient temperature of the environment where the device is in use. The device automatically includes these parameters in data reports.

Understanding Sampling Modes

Count & Mass: In count mode, the unit measures particle counts at eight fixed sizes – 0.3 μm, 0.5 μm, 1.0 μm, 2.5 μm, 4.0 μm, 5.0 μm, 7.0 μm, and 10.0 μm while in Mass mode, it measures PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM7, PM10, and TSP mass concentration levels.
Single or Continuous: It can operate in either single or continuous mode. In single mode, it takes a one-time measurement, while in continuous mode, it measures repeatedly over a period of time.
Selectable Duration: This refers to the ability to choose the duration for which the device measures particles. This could be a short period for a quick snapshot or a longer period for more comprehensive data

Simple Navigation

An upgraded TFT full-color LCD simplifies measurement and selection processes, complemented by intuitive navigation. It is simplified with a ‘Start/Stop’ button, a ‘Menu/Escape’ button, and a ‘Press/Select’ rotary knob for scrolling and selection. This design allows for a faster and more intuitive interface. The user can also customize up to ten specific locations with alpha-numeric identification for ease of use.

Rugged Design

Constructed with an all-metal package and advanced user interface, the Aerocet 532 is the top choice for professionals, featuring a rugged design ensuring durability for portable operation in challenging environments. With an internal battery life of 8 hours for continuous sampling, reliability is guaranteed during fieldwork.

Tailored Mass Conversion

The device employs a proprietary algorithm to convert particle counts to mass, tailored for typical-density aerosols. User-programmable K factors enable accommodation for special particulate with different densities, ensuring accurate measurements in diverse environments.

Flexible Data Interfaces

Features internal data storage that can accommodate over 15,000 records of mass measurements or particle counts. The stored data records can be viewed on the device’s large, color display. For further analysis, the data can be transferred to a computer via USB. The device outputs data in a .CSV format, which allows for easy integration into various systems. The included COMET software simplifies the process of downloading and analyzing readings and can even import sample data into an Excel spreadsheet. For even easier data transfer, the Aerocet 532 utilizes an optional docking station with WiFi, Ethernet, and RS-485 connectivity.
